This is a test run of Advance Mame running on Ubuntu 8.10 Linux. The design goal was a visually pleasing arcade interface that takes no user intervention on start-up and has an in menu shut-down option. A 20" monitor has been turned vertical to meet the orientation of older arcade hits. This arcade PC is being installed into a an old Lunar Rescue cabinet that was bought off ebay for $25.
