Acer AL1716 monitor shows weird lines

My Acer AL1716b LCD monitor shows weird lines since last week. I've been had this monitor for 4-5 years. I've tried to open it and detect any popped capacitors, none. I've cleaned the power board and chip board, removed all dust, and brushed the boards. Still the same thing. I've tried on another computer, and different cords. Any ideas anyone ?

1. the cable connection from board to LCD maybe loose
2. the filter capacitor is defective
3. the LCD panel might be defective.

@maypepnecro Looks can be deceiving. They're dirt cheap, replace them.

None of them were bulging at all? Even a very slight bulge (the top should be completely flat) can be indicative of a failed or failing capacitor.

i have the same model,am gonna disambel it ,and try to fix it ,and ill get back at ya

@younes727 Good luck, ive never got mine fixed. Probly was the cathodes.
