  • Where can I get a copy of that .pdf? the link is down and I would really like to use this information for a homework I'm doing about h264

  • @victor1139 Old link down, updated. Thanks for the view.

  • I keep seeing the word "efficiency" in the video. Is that something like taking 11 minutes to explain something that 2 minutes would suffice? I guess not. You managed to give 30 examples without really saying anything. When making this video, why not ask, "is it practical" "is it helpful" "is it a waste of your time" "does it lose the viewer's attention after a while" That person probably had no common sense. Thus a crappy life sucking video was born.

  • @lureyourkidsinvan Totally agree!!! Tell that to Panasonic, I didn't make this, Panasonic did. I just repost, haha...

So I guess I sum your statement, don't buy Panasonic, buy Canon, buy Sony. Oppsss... I am outdated, Canon and Sony also heads to H.264 base...

  • You know what...you lost my attention at 3:20! A simple explanation can be done in text format than how you wasted over 10 minutes of crap that I never even bothered to watch! Mpeg2 requires more space than mpeg 4. Mpeg 4 SUCKS! Why is that, because it produces noise in the picture quality. The noise being little black fucking lines shoot across the image. Mpeg 2 Is BEST! Why is that, it produces vivid images and much higher quality that is worth appreciating! As a professional, I will use DVD.

  • @homebrewelectronics - Sorry man I wasted your time! This was uploaded quite sometime ago and was for showing some friends in discussion about formats. And of course, the new AVCHD (new then). Yes, DVD is still a good format for SD. If your clients expectation is only SD, then that's it, DVD it is!

  • WHAT IS BETTER ? H.264 or MPEG2 ??????????????

  • H.264 or x264 seems to be a very good codec. However, I realized that there is a pretty noticeable loss of color, or maybe of contrast... :S
