ABC 20 was nice enough to share their coverage of the Fatherless Day activities at the capital complex. We do have one minor correction to the press report, we did have two candidates who are running for office who attended the candidates forum we put together, but for the most part, they were right. LeAlan Jones for US Senate (http://www.lealanforsenate.com/) showed up as well as Lex Green for Governor (http://www.electlex.com)

Only one third of child support is used toward the financial stability of the children, the rest goes to the mother. That's a factual statistic. So why should fathers be paying for their children, and for their ex's? Why should we essentially be paying alimony without being mandated to do so? Child support was originally developed for families on welfare. Now, the bulk of child support comes from middle class fathers, which is was never intended for!

  • You need to get a different president if your cause is shared parenting. He had custody of his daughter after his 1st divorce & took every opportunity to screw over his ex that he could, both financially & visitation.2nd divorce the wife got custody of the son & he does the same thing. Taking her to court to run her out of money & get more visitation when he doesn't even show up for some events. He wasn't preaching shared parenting when HE had custody. His REAL agenda is to not pay child support.

  • President Tim Brown and Illinois Fathers are DEAD ON RIGHT!!! Please get involved with this organization that will make you feel like you are a part of something so grand, so wonderful that you will get ALL your friends and family involved ... I am proud, damn proud to be a part of this movement towards justice....Richard Thomas, Dwight, IL.
