Hi! I have a Canon XH-A1 camera. I made sure that the video output is in HDV but does not recognize cs5

when i try to capture the screen is just black, but it reconizes the camera and everything.

Every time i import video from my Canon Viixia Hv40 all the footage that i capture shows up all zoomed in. Idk why it keeps doing that, any help would b great!

Hi! I've been filming the other day with a Sony DCR FX7, and CS5 Premiere Pro and Capture do not recognize the camera.. any suggestions? :)

@Thomnasty Try SenorCajones's suggestion. Also, make sure in your capture settings panel that you have the appropriate capture format selected, i.e. DV or HDV.

um when i capture it works but when it gos to the timeline its black and you can only here the audio please help me

@butterypopcornvideo Do you have your capture settings set to record both audio and video? Again though, you need to supply more details to have a chance at getting useful advice. See my reply to awesomeblandskater below.
