Abandon- Hero
(I do not own this song)

He walked the dirty streets. Famous for nothing.
He said come follow me and they came.
A face like all the rest.
But something was different.
The Son of God would lead the way.
And soon they all would say.

There He goes - a hero. A savior to the world.
Here He stands with scars in His hands.
With love He gave His life so we could be free.
The Savior of the world.

He spoke with clarity. Walked across the sea.
A single word would calm the storm.
His touch could heal the sick, but He was called a hypocrite.
Laid behind the stone. His death was shortly mourned. He left the curtain torn.

There He goes - a hero. A savior to the world.
Here He stands with scars in His hands.
With love he gave His life so we could be free.
The Savior of the world.

He chose to take the cross. Shed tears for the lost, the broken, and the needy.
Forgiving those who were and will be.
The angel made it clear. He told them have no fear.
Hes not here. Hes not here!

There He goes - The Hero. The Savior to the world.
Here He stands with scars in His hands.
With love He gave his life so we could be free.
The Savior of the world. The Savior of the world. The Savior of the world.

I'm here because I'm tired of the embarrassing christian delusion going unchallenged. Imagine if Muslims had a mosque on every street corner and were trying to get the rules in their magic book into your legislature. You'd want to push back too, wouldn't you?

It's easy for something to stay 'the same' when it's an imaginary concept in people's heads. But I'm sure that everyone who shares christian superstition would describe their own god differently.

I'd also point out that christian churches change their positions constantly to conform with scientific and moral development in society. The church is always several decades behind science, but eventually it comes to its senses.

because it is. if not for all of us but for you . the wages of sin my friend is death. and once you taste God you cannot do anything but believe you just havent tasted it or felt it yet. i can see your curios though about what God could change about your lfe. i mean what else would bring you to this christian video and lead you to discuss these christian beliefs with us. if you did not care then you wouldnt have done this.

yes it is always changing so scientist dont look stupid when they figure something new out... However my God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. he is God has always been God and will always be God. and one day even you shall be on one knee and confess with your tongue that he is lord i just pray that you relaize this before you die and get sent to Hell for eternity

Science is based on the evidence and reason of reality. It has shown itself to be the most reliable method for predicting the world around us.

Religion is based on the word of ancient, unknown authors.

These are radically divergent methods. I don't see how any rational person could rely on contradictory, wildly barbaric instructions/texts for any modern insight.

And scientists can be irrational, and entirely misguided. They are human after all.

How are souls (basically magic) a better explanation? Emotions are triggered by social animal triggers. Like your family/pack is in danger, or you are threatened, your you found a viable mate etc. It makes sense to me that they are just chemicals being released in the brain to get us to act in ways that are best for the group.
