Kohi and Muffin go potty 7/19/08

demonstration of the UGODOG potty system. kohi goes pee in the tray while muffin uses the pee pad. great, now i have two dogs peeing inside stinkin' up the joint.

we had to buy this because the dogs would tear up the pee pads if left unsupervised. they pretty much use the UGODOG for both #1 and #2; although, i think it's primarily meant for #1. it's not hard to clean. in the summer, just take it outside and spray it down with a hose. winter is a little bit more challenging...but i just rinse it in laundry tub.

lol - they both went potty at the same time. cute! do they also use the ugodog for #2? is it terribly hard to keep clean? I'm thinking of getting one for my beagle. She's trained to go on pee pads, but I'm thinking something like this would be better environmentally...

yeah, they were. we got them as puppies and trained them. i just don't like the fact that they have to hold it all day while we're at work. surprisingly, they've learned to use it. and you're right, it's much better than pee pads...they tear those things to shreds!

Were your dogs already housebroken though? Mine have been housebroken for years. I wanted something for those rare times I'm gone all day and they're forced to hold it or pee on the floor. They won't even use a "pee pad" but they were never trained to use one either and those things suck anyway.
