I joined Grand ball room about a year ago and thanks to the teaching style of Andy and Wendy , i was able to reach to gold star level within a year , now i can enjoy dancing in a social event or parties and turn heads :)
Curved feather and hover cross are fox and quickstep, respectively; haven't seen it used in Waltz. Could be used for "open" Gold comp I guess.
One of my favorite Waltz groupings starts with a left box directed into a corner, streamline into the corner. natural turn, overturned natural spin turn ending to begin down the new line of dance, right turning lock ending in PP, two measures of right turning pivots ending in PP diagonal center

I believe that neither curved feather nor open natural is a legal syllabus figure in International Waltz. Competitors beware.
