(R) Lunar soil! Geologist Astronaut Dr Harrison Schmitt (apollo 17) said the moon's soil is like fine sharp dust and sticks to everything......and without water it WILL NOT come off making the area around the LEM just like an arctic landscape ie footprints in snow!

  • Yes, and water is on The Moon too, so we're going pretty soon. The immense brain power of NASA, ESA and the japanese, chinese and indian seem to be beating the american basemet-dwelling conspiracy-freaks after all..wow..imagine that!! How shocking, hehe!:)

  • @winterstellar Ty for commenting:) NASA thinks there's ice under the north and south caps!

  • Yeah, thats why we use something called a "Boi-dome". You bring soil and plants from earth and use them to make oxygen inside of a self contained bubble.

  • @Babylauncher3000 Ty for commenting:)

  • @winterstellar You know, on the new vehicles, the suits will never go inside the vehicles or stations or whatever. They'll be attached on the outsides of the machinery and the astronauts will thread into them from the inside. NO lunar dust will even enter anything.
