Dont get all these comments complaining about the rape bit, who aren't even affected by the bits about pillaging, massacring, slavery, etc, just because they're shown often in other media. This show is set in a universe where Women were 2nd class citizens. Objects, even. For an army to rape them was akin to stealing the trophies of a city. This zeitgeist was in fact what we ourselves adopted until not too long ago. If you can't stomach stuff like this, you shouldn't be watching the show at all.

i loved this scene! the pure love and adoration Drogo develops for his Khaleesi and vice versa, is the most powerful thing in the first season/book...and of course the kill him off, but that's just how stories go! i think Jason Momoa was like THE perfect fit for Drogo!
