Because of that she is also nick named The Funnel. Today, November 9 is doomdsday for this ship. He last departure will be tonight at 22:00 from Plymouth to Roscoff. Then she will be laid up pending sale. Either she goes to another shipping line or she goes to the scrapyards at Alang, India.

Nice shots - its great up on the Hoe...esp in summer....used to live nr Plymouth and take the crossing to Roscoff on the old Tregastel, latterly the Quiberon. Now living near London and will be out from Pompey this time to St Malo 'chez famille'..

I wonder how many people wanted to sail on the Pont Aven, but then confused this ship with the Pont'l'Abbe when making the reservation and then ended up the ship with the Great Funnel!!!
