Noor Jahan's Great Punjabi Song Chan Mahiya - Instrumental By Prof. Qasim Hasan Zaidi

Heer Ranjha (Punjabi: ਹੀਰ ਰਾਂਝਾ, ہیر رانجھا, hīr rāñjhā) is one of the popular tragic romances of Punjab. There are several poetic narrations of the story, the most famous being 'Heer' by Waris Shah written in 1766. It tells the story of the love of Heer and her lover Ranjha.

Several Films have been made on this story but Heer Ranjha made by Masood Parvez with music direction of Khawaja Khursid Anwar in 1970 has most probably been the best version.

The song Chan Mahiya is one of the most famous songs of this film, in particular, and punjabi songs in general.
