  • Were You There When The Fan Broke? Like You were Just vacuuming and It did that?

  • @OrecksRule223 no, I wasnt there, but my dad was using it with the hose to vacuum out an old floor air vent in an old house and he couldn't see what he was picking up. probably a penny or something. I still havent fixed it. Its just sitting out in the garage

  • Nice D80, i been looking for this one on ebay along with another one,but these things are hard to find now-a-days.

  • I have two of them. one of them has a broken fan and I need to get out there and fix it one of these days. and you said along with another one- what other model you looking for?

  • I haven't spent a lot of time with the vacuums lately. (I've been gaming too much...oh, and let's not forget watching the girls on G4 I know that I can never have)

  • What is wrong with this kirby? sounds like the bearings are completely worn

  • it's the fan. the old Kirby was just sitting there in the corner in the pantry not being used, so I took it to the house dad was restoring. I'm thinking of replacing the broken fan with a kevlar this time. The thing is, someone wanted me to rebuild a D50 for them and wanted it as original as possible-meaning also metal fan. I put my "blood, sweat and tears" into it(I know, it sounds kinda corny) I don't plan on using it anytime soon, so I'm just going to leave it the way it is for now.
