-This is Richard's seventh series as a lead star in GMA-7.

-The search for the leading lady of Zorro started on January 16, 2009 through audition. Before Rhian Ramos, some of the possible leading ladies were Marian Rivera, Isabel Oli, Iwa Moto,Heart Evangelista, Glaiza de Castro, and newcomer Carla Abellana. And it came up to the point that GMA-7 could borrow artists from its rival network, ABS-CBN, Anne Curtis and Roxanne Guinoo as leading ladies. And a member from Star Magic Batch 11 Carla Humphries and Nina Jose,a housemate from Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition.
