Obama Blames America for Iran!?!

There is a difference between blame and regretting and learning from poor policy choices. America has made mistakes, like we at times have for our own self interest backed foreign leaders who would be criminals in our own country. Yet, we've done a lot of good as well, even when it really wasn't in our own self interest. To move forward and to improve global relations, we have to be willing to admit our mistakes and own them.

You can still love the USA, while being honest about its mistakes.

Locals got into the fight, they had weapons from Warld War I and II, hidden and they joined the fight. Rapid mobilization of volunteers started, loyal Pasdaran forces were gathered. They recalled veterans of the old imperial army & Iranian pilots to join.

morbo262, Iranians are not Arabs, Iran fought Saddam with no millitary and stopped his army some 300 miles into Iran and they never passed the villages. US, UK, Russia, Saudi, Syria, Kuwait all helped Saddam and he could not get anywhere. 6 day war, you are comparing to what all these nations did to help Saddam defeat a nation with no army. Go read a bit, you need better information pal.
