Me and Skye 2009

2009 has been a great year for us. its the year we have jumped the biggest and scariest stuff and i can really trust her.. (apart from the nasty stop at lusks) LOL ... we have also been lucky enough to compete alot this year, though the early part of this year wasnt perfect, she was fine with showjumping but cross country we used to get a good few refusals.. but it was my fault for giving her the chance to stop as i wasnt riding postive enough. towards the end of the eventing session we started to click, and the refusals wre coming less and less and i came 4th in my last event.

showjumping wise we had a awesome year, i remember in 2007/2008.. not being able to jump 85cm course without me nearly coming off or skye refusing. however im so happy that we can now go clear round 1m course. she trys 110 % and often kickes the big horses asses :)

The downside to this year was skye going lame.. most of august skye wasnt rode or when i did ride i was afraid she would trip.. as you can see in a pic at.. i remember coming into the 1st jump since the 'tape day' (when she got lame) it was only like 50cm and i was so scared of her tripping.. but everything is better now :)

a few amazing things that happen in 2009 :) - jumping clear 1m course
-pony club camp 2009
-coming 2nd in derby
-jumping the drawbridge.. sadly have no videos.. but its the scary drop thing in the water jump
- jumping for schools at balmoral
- coming 4th in 2 phase
-getting to so many events

A BIG thankyou to alice (xxrayenxx) as most of these photos and videos she has taken. i dont know how she does it but every pic she takes is always amazing..
go sub her and get her to 600 subbbers :)
