  • Everyone complains about that damn bridge being out nothing new LOL

  • It was just a part of the experience. I really enjoyed being there, I wish I could get my wife to travel, she'd fall in love with the place.

  • lol I used to live up there also, i was living there while the bridge was down (probbly still is) I was also there at the fair you are talking about

umm I should tell you I helped tear down those rides for some extra cash. If you saw what made those rides hold together they would have been 100 times more scary

  • I've been "out" here for almost 30 years-not a lot surprises me. What is scary (I guess) is that Skerbeck is one of the better shows. So if their "iron" was frightening, you can imagine what some of the rag-bags are like.

Right now it's still up in the air if I get to go back or not. I'll post in the VLOGs if I do. If that's the case, stop by and say Hi! I'll buy you lunch.

  • This was my first time with Skerbeck, and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the midway and the courtesy of the ride jockeys. I had a nice week there and hope that I book in again next year

  • it is not a great town to grow up in. there's no opportunities.

  • i live here so its not so exciting, but a great town to grow up in.

  • All right? All right? Dude, it's a great town!!! I wonder if I'll make it there this year?

  • I hear ya I wasnt trying to mean anything by it lol. Yeah that bride bugs me too. I live not far from there and I got to go all the way around to go to the fair. Yeah it is beautifull up there and im glad I could grow up in a place like that

  • iron? hah try knowing your flipping and spinning through the air in a cage held together by aluminum and metal clips

But I mostly parted there, never did grow up around there. I only went around there and to there every summer or so with my family growing up. It was when I went to help my sister, her boss got me into the paper mill right there in town so I stuck around, since i made some great friends up there.

    always did love northern hospitality
