@bluenowait No doubt, I definitely see it every so often myself, as well. I was recently able(thanks to the dates I've heard others post about when HBO first separated the B and the O on their logo, identify a sign I saw recently next to an older motel(and per comments on other videos) as likely from either 1981 or 1982.

this is old home box office from mid-late 1970's
