  • i don't think you guys may know this also a priest/bishop/archbishop cardinal or pope cannot tell anyone else the sins they hear in confessions no matter how bad they are did you not learn that in your first confessions

  • @haarpcloud911 Why are you surprised that we see certain Prelates of the Church engaged in Masonic handshakes?

The construct that 'masonry is the enemy of the church' is essentially a smoke screen.

Yes, "it" is the enemy of Christ & those who are sincere in living His teachings. Abiding His warning that "You cannot serve both God & Mammon".

Of course modern Masonry venerates Mammon.

As has the Vatican, since 325 AD.....

  • @navajovik "Donna" Weurl would not be Archbishop of DC, nor made a Cardinal if he were not a 'man of confidence' in the sex abuse scandals. That he has proven his ability to lie, obstruct justice, & keep secrets. He is extremely duplicitous & loyal to that which 'keeps him in furs'.

    ...not to God.

And most certainly not to the innocent ppl in the pews who he is ripping off, spiritually & materially.

  • @irelandcool1 True: not all priests/bishops are abusers. However it is equally true that you will not become a bishop today unless you have proven your "discretion' in the sex abuse matters. That you can keep the secret & are willing to hide evidence, protect the guilty, & lie about anything you are ordered to.

    This is a factual reality.

And anyone who is a bishop or a potential candidate is one who is 'in the loop' of the coverup.

  • @4U2TakeBackAmerica While I am a Catholic, I must agree with you:

There is no good cause to have a Catholic majority (Opus Dei linked...) in the Supreme Court. With no representation from Protestants, Muslims or other faiths.

The issue is not some sort of representative quota, but rather the obvious dominance by those with concrete links to that which is trying to subvert the US govt into some sort of Fascism.

  • @amaqula What part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ do you not comprehend?

Jesus VERY clearly taught that the Apostles & their successors were NOT to seek or have worldly power, riches, nor to interfere in ANY way with secular govt. He clearly indicated that Church & State were two very separate things.

Jesus rejected the Devil's temptation to "all the kingdoms of the world & the power & glory thereof'.

The Vatican seems to have accepted the offer.....

  • @4U2TakeBackAmerica I'm not defending what they did any more than I would Ted Bundy killing seventy women. However if someone claimed Bundy killed three thousand I would call them on it and ask them to prove it, not because I want to defend Bundy but to defend the truth. I agree with your assessment of the Cathollic Church's motivations behind the inquisition.

  • @itlfa2009 The Inquesitions were an ongoing event and spanded many years between 1500 and 1700's. It was a way for the Roman Church to maintain its power and grow in riches. They confiscated the property and belongings of those they destroyed. Halley's Bible Handbook is NOT one man's biased opinion. It is a compilation of many resourse. I think that you are defending the Roman Churches behavior or you would not even address the issue. You are not even shocked at 5000 being burned at the stake?

  • @amaqula Not for me!!

  • @4U2TakeBackAmerica I'm not going to bash Helley's book, but if you are open to information outside of a biased individual then I suggest Edward Peter's Inquisition which states that between 1560 and 1700, 5,000 at most were burned at the stake. I'm not here to defend The Catholic Church's behaviour, but to claim that millions were killed shows a complete ignorance of the facts. Europe would of been completely depopulated with those numbers.
