There's a very rare "broadband adapter," which is basically an ethernet card for the system. For modems you need to put in a browser disc and just set it up... phone number, account name, password, etc.

It's not complicated, search on GameFAQs or something if you really have difficulty.

no. it was just an ISP that sega set up to optimize connection & bandwidth specifically for Dreamcast & Saturn users. 9 times out of 10 you could get pretty decent connection speeds for dial up. Usually topping out at 54.4 kb. But the service lost steam after the release of the PS2 & Xbox. :( was sad to see the DC pass away :(

@deblobex Actually...there WOULD be Xbox Live. Xbox Live was in the works from the moment the Xbox was released and while it was still a prototype. so no Sega is not responsible for it. They were the first though.

n64 is a good console, but the dreamcast is a very great console to play with. but don't be hard on yourself. everybody makes mistakes :)
