My Turtles aquarium outside, turtles basking and eating mice. The aquarium/pond is 55 gallons. This is a good idea for those people who cant afford to build a pond or have no room to put one. I know 55 gallons is pretty small for one turtle let alone two so thats why i just recently bought a 150 gallon stock tank for them. Eventually when i get my own house iam going to build them a large pond. By the way, I know some of you are going to say that feeding the turtles mice is cruel however thats nature; turtles got to eat too you know :)

  • That is cruel! Not enough water or room for turtles!! Awful to the mice too. Shame on you!

  • @sxyynggrl4u Shame on you for not reading the info

  • @dictionaryzzz nooo you r killing ur turtles it is not nature to feed ur turtles mice!!!! the have wayyy to many bones in there bodies now take them turtles to the vet so they can show u the ripped organs of your turtles from mice bones tearing through them!!! where the f*** did u get the idea to feed you turtles mice!!!!!! seriously you r killing ur turtles... just saying... feed them something call turtle food as in repto min , strawberries, and lettuce... YOUR WELCOME (:

  • @sophiadaturtle no I am not killing them they are still alive and very healthy. Turtles can eat mice they are oportunistic feeders. BTW, i dont feed them mice everyday its like once a month; it provides them omega 3s, fats, vitamins, and minerals that they couldnt get from regular turtle food or veggies.

  • @dictionaryzzz ohhh once a month... thats better i thought it was everyday! but everyday really would kill them because of the bones but may i suggest already dead mice?? mice have feelings too (:

  • @sophiadaturtle what does it matter they are going to feel the same when they die

  • @dictionaryzzz 1. Feeding a live mouse. Its cruel and pointless. Far too fatty for a start, high in phosphorus and low in calcium. And how many mice do you see swimming in turtle ponds? That was a rhetorical question.

    2. When you feed live you also risk the well-being of whatever you're feeding. Your turtle could get a nasty bite or even loose an eye.

    3. That enclosure is about as wide as my dick, ie not very.

  • This is indeed a 1st, would say stick to fish and worms, seem far cheaper and might get you more likes
