This is a beautiful freight elevator at Physics Building at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. It is unknown what brand this is. I am going to think this is either an Otis or Haughton. It cant be Dover because Dover was introduced in the 1950s. This elevator is from the 1930s-1940s. The doors were changed. The doors most likely used to be manually operated doors. U can even tell they were changed because there is a separate panel for the door control. This elevator does have peelee doors. I believe they were added in the 1960s or 1970s. Other than that, this is a beauty. Last time I was here when I got the passenger elevator, they were doing loads on this elevator and the guy was guarding the elevator while the truck was pulling in. This time, the building was empty and most of the lights were off. So there was like no one inside.
