Check out "microphone" at 2.11" Interviewer... "Do you think the people of Ireland feel like they are taking it in the arse for the banks?"

We arrived hoping to have some serious questions answered regarding the state of the ecconomy, armed with a camera and a butt plug, just in case.

A big truck came and parked outside the Dail in an act of protest about toxic banks. Reporters were later to be seen spinning the story that it had tried to crash through the gates. Later still, politicians were defecating the same thing. We had enough. We produced a butt plug. The politicians seemed to like it.

Not all of us are willing to take it in the arse for the banks.

  • The big question is,after the forthcoming International Monetary Fund remedy will the Irish be willing & capable of developing & maintaining a reformed political system and government?

  • Jim McDaid's extraordinary retirement package has become the standard against which the budget’s fairness will be measured: phased lump sums totalling more than €250,000 over the next 12 months, plus an annual pension of €75,000 thereafter.(Irish Times 13/11/10)

McDaid, former Soldier of Destiny Minister became famous for driving a car on the Naas dual carriageway, when three and a half times over the alcohol driving limit.

McDaid:Those who take their own lives are "selfish bastards"
