  • OMG YEA! A long time ago before I started my job as a ttc kipling train operator, I used to ride those T1's so OFTEN! Yea, the squealing hurt my ears so bad!!! At least they fixed that problem, though.

  • hehehe looks like you had fun. I have a question, do you know if the TTC is hiring later on in the year??

  • These trains made by Bombardier have very good interior. Also very nice heat. The air conditioning too during the summer is the most comfortable comparing with the yellow trains. The yello trains (UTDC) in my opinion are the worst. The best are the H4s. They might be old but they are mighty fast.

  • you mean the (orange trains)

  • omg, the sound quality is so good and clear!!

  • Thanks, the quality turned out better than I thought when I first uploaded. Its a Cannon PowerShot SD1000 7.1 Mega pixels

  • I remember riding those T1's from College to Union when I visited Toronto!

  • I prefer the H6 overall, it's a shame the entire H-class is going to be deep-sixed :(

  • @yisasakopaka Actually, these happen to be the loudest trains in the entire system. They squeal loudly when taking off, they squeal loudly when slowing down, they squeal loudly in the tunnels. And the chimes are way out of tune compared to the ones on the brighter, older subway cars.

  • these trains dont smell like mold. i think the T1's are more silent than the old ones, the chimes are better, the doors are wider, the lights are brighter, and the interior design is so good!

  • And why did the R142 Bombardier have that type of Kawasaki sound?

  • I think the best improvement for the trains were the wider doors. Lets face it, people are going to stand in the doorway whether you have a sign telling them not to block it or not. So you might as well make it wider for people to get on and off (useful for crowded trains too).

One funny think I noticed was the rings that you can hold onto. Why is it funny? I remember those being on the old Gloucester trains. The H1 to H6 trains didn't have them.

  • lol i saw u there for a moment u were wearing a red jacket with white stripes right? anyway nice video man. ur a real pro.

  • yes orange. they used to have yellowish.orange seats before till they got changed to red. IO remember.
