One day before Napoleon's 242nd Birthday there was another historical meeting of political forces happening in Waterloo. The atmosphere in the 'Electric Ballroom' in this small town in Iowa was high voltage and journalists from all over the country awaited the appearance of two GOP Candidates: Texas' Governor Rick Perry and Michigan Congress woman, Michele Bachmann.
A few days earlier it still looked like presidential candidate Rick Santorum (google his last name) would be the key note speaker of this evening - but that had changed when Rick Perry announced his appearance at the GOP Lincoln Day Dinner even before he officially entered the race.
Michele Bachmann made sure to arrive late enough so she wouldn't need to fight over who gets to speak on stage last (The official reason was a family reunion just outside of town and a visit with her aunt who has Alzheimer's at a nursing home).
All three candidates put on a great show and they all agreed on many points -one point in particular: CUT THE SPENDING.
And, as you can see in this video, none of them had a solid plan on how to deal with the elder tsunami that is starting to hit this country and the whole world.
So the time to make your own preparations for your own or your families long term health issues is now.

So Bachmann snubbed you, Perry had no idea what he was talking about, but I liked Ron Paul's answers. I also liked the fact that he was busy signing things, but still made time to give you answers, honest answers at that. He didn't change the conversation like Perry did. He is an honest, decent man and I hope he wins the election.

Rick Perry is a moron. Does he really think preventative healthcare is the answer to geriatric care? He basically said that people need to eat right and exercise. Thats not going to stop people from getting old. He needs to get a psychological exam.
