Anyone know where Susan Lynch, Danny Klawon, Bobbie Kaminski, Doug Hall and/or David Allen Thomas are? I owe them all an apology of one sort or another. Wally, too, but he already knows that. All of 'em changed my life for the better. Thx.
There were musician changes at a point, but this original group is THEE best. The MODS from northeast Ohio, which included Jim Bonfanti, Wally Bryson and Dave Smalley (and others), started it all. The MODS were the precursor to The Choir, that lead into The Raspberries. Jim, Wally and Dave of the MODS were the foundation of The Raspberries. The eastside cities of Cleveland, which are Euclid and Mentor, produced this group. That's why Clevealnd is the Rock and Roll Capitol.
Raspberries were a tremendously talented band, with musical genius Eric Carmen crafting songs that sound as good today as they did in the 70's. They were a big influence on many musicians that followed them.
They always puts me in my happy place! :)
