Roland MV-8800 and XP-30 'Electro/Synth Rock' Beat

'ElectroRock Rhythm' was my first instrumental arranged upon a Roland MV-8800 Production Studio unit (having sequenced straight to computer DAWs prior) so this beat was very much a testing vehicle for the unit.

I did not, however, explore the inbuilt mastering effects of the MV in this composition. I prefer to track out to PC (Sonar) and use plug-in effects for special processing, mangling and mastering.

Once again, my trusty XP-30 synth provides all the harmonic and melodic source material, with the drums and rhythm sounds produced by imported samples on the MV8800.
