Hi mate, I was wondering if you could help. I need some advice for my wife college project. Her mate took the footage on a Canon 7D (about which I know nothing) and she wants to edit in FCP.
Not having shake at the mo, would you recommend:
a) Streamclip
b) Compressor
c) The Canon 7d for FCP plug-in
d) Toast 10.
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

is there a reason why 720p is not looking so good on my screen or is your shot 360p?

Newbie here, may I ask a big picture question on how you load your demonstration from your computer screen on to youtube? It fills the youtube screen nicely and the sound was very good for your presentation. You didn't simply zoom in your video camera or Mark II to the computer screen and record it before posting to youtube did you? It looks very sharp.
Thanks in advance,

Thats right, what was apple thinking when they discontinued Shake?
I wanted to purchase it in November this year. But now I can't.
Does the new fcp studio that we all upgraded to have the settings in Compressor that your using?
What were the settings in Shake that you used?
Thanks for posting this great tutorial.

hey there. first of: thanks for that video. It helps a lot. But one question didn't get an answer. What about the motion? Does Shake really provide a fluent, nice motion without any noticable stuttering because of the lack of frame interpolation?
And where exactly can I find a decent 5DMkII Post-Pro Manual?
thanks

Excellent demonstration, never realize Shake provided high quality compression. My question, now that Shake is discontinued, are their new setting in Compressor 3.5 that give you that improved output? Or is Shake still the standard?
Thanks again for your time and opening up a whole new level of production quality.
is there a reason why 720p is not looking so good on my screen or is your shot 360p?I thought with your camera it should be 1080p no?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
it cannot be judged properly on the web because the compression makes the frame rate usually 20fps.
