When my dad died, and my aunt called to tell me, I knew EXACTLY what the call was going to be as soon as I hear the phone ring, and he was only like 51 and not even really sick. Instinct I guess. We weren't close. We had only talked a few times since I was 15 (I was 28 when he died) I didn't go to his funeral. I still feel bad about not going, and I'm still kinda pissed off at him for not being a good father. I guess we both lost out :(

I understand how difficult it is when you lose a parent. My dad has been gone 15yrs.on Christmas eve and my mom 4yrs this past Oct I was with them when they passed. It is indeed surreal. It was the most difficult thing I have ever experienced but I am grateful I was able to be there with them. You did say goodbye just by being there, words were not needed. I assure you it does get less painful as time passes. You look great even after a sleepless night, haha. I applaud your accomplishments!

Shopping is usually a bad experience... If anyone comes at me with a credit card application I just say "You're wasting your time. I'm already bankrupt!"

I understand the loss of a parent. I lost my mother a little over a year ago now. I miss her so very much as I spoke to her at least 3 or 4 times a day. I was in the hospital room when she passed and the feelings are beyond words. It was so final and really didn't sink in till a few days later--then I knew nothing would ever be the same. Sweet kitty. I hope you get some sleep soon.

I don't hardly go to the store but I get tired of hearing the credit card garbage.I only have one and I rarely use it.I don't like debt.

Sheesh... we all have those kinda nights, right? Sleepless... full of thoughts, feeling misunderstood, sad or frustrated. But hey, that's life... I would just love to give you a hug Allie. Your cats are very sensitive and I think they felt that you needed them around you :) I love your new shows, wow, they look gorgeous. I don't know if I would have the courage to wear them... those are some sexy heels, huh? You go girl! :D
