@aniseshaw Your microphone is clipping, because you're speaking loader than the maximum volume. You can either move it further away from your mouth, but it's already pretty far, so I'd recommend reducing the volume in your operating system settings/control panel

"That the saints may enjoy their beatitude and the grace of God more abundantly, they are permitted to see the punishment of the damned in hell." - Thomas Aquinas.
Most of this fortunately doesn't apply to me (for the moment), but I definitely have some friends who need to be yanked out from the fiery pit of artistic paralysis, guys with epic stories that have existed only in their heads for years and years... they need to watch this video. Spread the gospel-uh! Damnation is not inevitable-uh!
I'd be a fan of seeing a "going to a first convention" topic being discussed. I'm going with my artist to Emerald City Comic Con artist alley and I feel we maybe should have started on a smaller platform instead of the biggest convention in the Northwest. I'm sure hearing your thoughts on what the before, during, and after of a convention should be (do/don'ts, preperation, handy tips, common mistakes, etc) and maybe even a few stories about your experience at cons would help calm my anxiety.

@evilpez Conventions are actually the topic this thursday! Fancy that.
I've been doing cons for a number of years, so I hope that some of my feelings on them will help :)
ECCC is a tough sell, but it's a great place to connect with other artists. If you go with the mentality that you'll either lose money or break even, but you want to use it as an opportunity to get to know other people, then it will be a great success! I usually break even at ECCC.
