@DarkGothic Sorry it was the 1st and 2nd arc they did. He died before completing the 8th story arc.

@rockstardj93 Sorry, they didn't animate the altered ending, they stopped at the second story arc. I wish they continued it into the next stories.

@LadyRelena000 He died before finishing one of the story arcs in the manga version. The anime is only the first story arc and was supposed to finish there but because fans were outraged the author brought 002 and 009 back in the next story arc where at the beginning it explains that 002 and 009 were saved by 009 at the last second. I'm sorry for being unclear, to the extent of my knowledge they didn't actually animate the altered ending as they stopped animating it there. Like a cliffhanger!

@DarkGothic @shinyzombie Actually I read somewhere that the original author of the manga died before he could properly conclude Cyborg 009 and so this is how it ended up being. Also, whats this remake with a new ending? It's the first I've heard of it.

@shinyzombie Actually 001 saves them at the last second in the re-done ending. The was such a demand that the author was forced to change the outcome.

I would do anything to see this episode in english...... ANYTHING. This is such a beautiful ending..... i know is not a happy one BUT THATS LIFE! Life isnt always fair... this show has so much humanity... its bittersweet and thats life. What I want to know is what is up with the few episodes with the blue outfits and red scarves??? Whats up with that?
