Jim Hughes invited harmonica players to his home in Solihull, Birmingham, UK, on Sundays mornings to play musical arrangements for chromatic, chord and base harmonicas. Most of the players had studied with him at some time and many travelled quite a distance to take part. This regular get together lasted for many years before ending in 2002.
Hi Jim,
I see in the NHL magazine that You're trying to get these gatherings back up and running again, I wish You the Best of success!! As they say in Holland, "the blood keeps creeping where it can't go".

Very nice. What a shame that it took almost a year for me to find it...and that it ended in 2002! But that's the unfortunate fate of most harmonica groups, sad to say.
