@sixstringnerd at least from my limited experience you want to try to keep the over heads together for phase issues generally hard left and right fore stereo imaging . Then again all is fair in love and audio, it is all trial and error to see what sounds good to you and your clients.
Sometimes I will only have one mic on drums. Would it be beneficial to separate the low mid and highs into separate channels and then do all my processing?
I tell you what, that tutorial you made a while ago where you Low Cut all the tracks at 400Hz across the mix was invaluable, it's been really useful, so thanks.
Love this video. It's cool to see you go through your whole thought process with this. I kept wanting to check all the other tracks and see everything else. Ha!
One question though. Could you EQ each overhead track separately and add a little more stereo spread to the kit? Or would that start to introduce phase issues? Just a beginner asking questions.
I've just purchased your Xmas EP and it sounds excellent. Please do a tutorial on how you mixed 'Silent Night' from beginning to End. I'd love to see that. Thanks!
F*** Hell, this is the third time I watch this video and it still is mindblowing. I suppose it's the beginner's amazement.

Love the video, but I was wondering if you can do a tutorial about recording electric guitar?

I love your tutorials, could you perhaps kill the Reverb Bus next time?
I may only speak for myself, but I think it would help me focus on what you are teaching.
Thanks
