@WeednBone Well, derek knew that there was going to somebody with a gun. He didn't get a shot off, which is understandable because the terminator was pulling the trigger before they were in sight of each other like the terminator knew someone was turning the corner. Derek just got careless. Something you don't do. Hell, he stood there while Vick shot him. Just looking at the terminator with the gun. Derek was a good character, just not that smart. You'd think he would have stayed with the group.

At least Kyle blew a terminator half to hell before he died. Hell, even CHARLIE died a heroic death. No "I'll distract him you run" or "I'll die to save my friends". Nope. Just... Boom. Dead.
