When they returned from their busy trip, things got even busier.

Demi went back to school and was doing homework every day, trying to get through her Senior year. Joe and his brothers started filming the new television series with Chelsea and another costar Nicole.

Kevin and Danielle were busy making wedding plans just like Demi's mom and Eddie.

Demi and Joe slipped into a pattern where they'd see each other every Saturday for dinner and a movie at one of their houses.

Christmas came quickly and the boys had some time off. Demi spent Christmas with her family then stopped by the Jonas's for a little while. She couldn't help but feel a bit odd over there since she hasn't been there much since the album came out.

The New Year came around as well. The Jonas's held a party which was fun. All their friends were around.

With the New Year came a tour that was being well-planned in between filming for the television show.

Demi had a meeting with John Fields, the boys' album producer, and she gave him some songs to look at. He wants her to record a demo song for him then they'll see about things from there.

Demi couldn't have been more happy. When she got out of the meeting, she pulled out her phone to call Joe.

Joe: Hello?

Demi: Hey, it's me.

Joe: Oh, hey, what's up?

Demi: I just ha-

Joe: I gotta go. You can tell me later, okay? Love you.

Joe hangs up before Demi can even say anything.

Demi: That's fine -She sighs then calls up Selena.-

Selena: Hello?

Demi: Hey, what's up?

Selena: Absolutely nothing, why?

Demi: Let's do something. I want to have fun.

Selena: That sounds fantastic. Let's go out.

Demi: It's a date.

They hang up and Demi drives to her house. When she goes inside, her mom and Eddie are there on the couch, surrounded by wedding magazines.

Diana: Hi, sweetie, how did it go?

Demi: Perfect. John loved my songs and he wants me to record a demo next weekend.

Diana: Oh, that's great, honey. I'm so proud of you.

Demi: Thanks, Mommy. Hey, Sel and I are going out tonight, is that okay?

Diana: Is your homework all done?

Demi: Yes.

Diana: Alright, be careful. Maddie's watching a movie in your room, just so you know.

Demi: Okay -She calls then goes upstairs to her room.- Hi, lovely.

Maddie: Demi!

Demi: How are you?

Maddie: Pretty good.

Demi: What are you watching?

Maddie: Beauty and The Beast.

Demi: Good movie. I'm gonna get ready to go out, okay?

Maddie: With Joe?

Demi: -Frowns.- No, he's busy and Selena and I are going to go have some fun.

Maddie: Oh, okay.

Demi curls her hair and adds some make up then she picks out a short black dress and some heels for the night. Demi finishes checking herself in the mirror then she turns to face Maddie.

Demi: Are you staying over?

Maddie: Yeah.

Demi: I'm not sure if I'll be around, I might stay at Sel's tonight, but you can sleep in my bed, okay?

Maddie: Thanks.

Demi: I'll see you tomorrow -She leaves Maddie with a kiss on her forehead then she heads downstairs.- Bye, Mom...bye, Eddie.

Demi leaves and drives to Selena's house where she honks her in horn, sitting in the driveway.

Selena steps outside, dressed up for the night as well, and she gets in the passenger seat.

Selena: Let's go have some fun, yeah?

Demi smiles and throws her car in reverse and pulls out into the street and heads into the city.
