In April/May 2009 I visited a lot of gajdaplayers in Makedonija. Every player is able to play Pajdusjko. Pajdusjko means drunken. The measure is 5/16, 12 123.
Every gajdaplayer has his own distinctive manner of performance.
When I heard Vlado Trajanov from Probistip (East-Makedonija) playing Pajdusjko, I was very surprised!
He often changes from Group of Tones and ... he often uses half distances between the tones.
Great to hear!
Vlado has sometimes problems with his heart, but he has found a very good solution to play!
For more explanation about Group of Tones: see www.gajdy.web-log.nl
Look to his gajda. There is a second drone. It is called in Macedonian language: slagar. The slagar sounds 2 octaves higher than the bassdrone.
