To tag a friend or fan page, type the @ symbol in your status update and then immediately start typing the friend or fan page you want to tag. A drop-down menu will appear from which you can choose the person or page you want to tag.

hey dude nice video. but i hav a small issue. im tryin to tag my friend 'Tom' on my status but his name wont show up on the list below. it works wen i tag other friends on it but hes the only one dat i cant tag. wats the problem? im using google chrome btw.

Sometimes it's a little touchy. I've had the same issue in Google Chrome. I just start over by reloading the page; that usually works.
