@JR2011DNB Look a little more into the Hessdalen phenomena and you'll see that there are a ton of stills and even a few videos that show it occurring very close to the surface/trees. I know what you're referencing and *most* of these do not look anything like a rocket/missle test.

Its most likely an unsuccessful test of a submarine based Inter Continetal Ballistic Missile ICBM type 'Bulawa' which Russia uses to tests since 2001. The Bulawa is a carrier rocket loaded with multiple warheads which already in the past (December 2009) hit headlines due to debris of the project overyflying the town of Tromsø, Norway. There also used to be reports about sightings of 'UFOs' as well... quite often things are more earthly as one might think.

Yes, I can accept your apologies. I wonder who told you this was a firwork night? Hessdalen is a place in Norway with only 150 inhabitants, in the middle of nowhere. By the quality of the video I understand that you might think this is fireworks. I also seen that you removed all your comments, probably smart. Matter closed times 4 doesnt look too good.

@earthvisitor3 If you analyze the spectral analyzes of the lights then you can see the "fingerprint" of what it consists of by the colors it is emitting. Out from the results these are not party lanterns. If you are a part of a team of investigators in the 60's you should be more mature then responding to an innocent comment telling him/her to go to hell. They call it a UFO doesnt mean that it have to be alien. I were there, I saw it with my own eyes. Up to you if you choose not to believe me.

@earthvisitor3 To your information: I were there in 2007 when this clip was taken. And I can assure you that those ligths aint party lanterns. The language in the clip is norwegian and they are saying "oh my god, is this happening, lights that just burn over the sky, wtf" The video clip was taken by Christian Strande btw =)
