Up first, it's just NOW being reported that Hayden Panettiere got the boot from a New York club a few weeks ago. The 19-year-old got IDed by a bouncer, who thought she looked underage at the Jon Turco Band show. The man didn't happen to recognize the famous hero, so he allegedly kicked her to the curb and confiscated her license. Panettiere reportedly called the police herself in order to get her ID returned. The non-drinking celeb did indeed get her license back when the cops came to the club.

Another silver lining in Tinseltown... comedian Howie Mandel returned to his Toronto home from the hospital on Tuesday. The 'Deal or No Deal' host reportedly got hospitalized Monday after complaining of severe chest pains. Sources are saying that his problems were not related to a heart-attack, however, they were simply because Mandel is completely exhausted from working on his new NBC show, 'Howie Do It.'

And we know you've been waiting to hear about the special dinner featuring Brit-Brit and J-Timberlake. Unfortunately, it's not exactly what you're thinking... An eye witness told US-Weekly that Spears and her mom walked into an Asian tapas bar around 10-pm when Justin and girlfriend Jessica Biel were in the middle of eating. The source said that the couple slumped down in their seats in order to avoid a confrontation and that the atmosphere was tense... especially since the restaurant is small and intimate. Apparently, Britney and her mama left 30-minutes later, followed shortly by Justin and gal pal.

.,yah! i know justin wrote 'rehab' really for britney...it's in the lyrics!...and he's not over britney! if he really is, he should not feel any tension whenever they bump in with each other...

.,same as britney...i know he's not over him yet...she wrote in her diary or journal once in rehab that she's getting justin back! and hell she will and she should!!!

I can imagine how awkward that might have been. But, I would avoid confrontation as well, because of THINGS LIKE THIS....the media goes freakin' nuts and tells us they had dinner together, WHEN THEY DIDN'T!
