I saw Kate in the musical CoCo in 1971 at the
Los Angeles Music Center. Of course she
couldn't sing, but she had songs like Rex Harrison in My Fair Lady. They could just be
talked.

She was wonderful. The audience loved her
even tho CoCo was only so-so. Kate was
about 64 at the time.

Hal Walis was shown as a fat, ugly bully in the TV film about Martin and Lewis w/ Sean Hayes as Lewis, ca 2002.
