Assembled from an extended film about the group (the touring and home parts were left out). And it's 30 years old now!

Stormwatch was the last Tull album I ever bought - so I suppose this has other meanings. Anyway, I'm a sucker for these "fly on the (studio) wall" type films.

I've carefully beefed-up the sound and vision from the original (low quality) file - hope you like it!

  • The quality of Jethro Tull as a band has always been directly proportional to the length of Ian Anderson's beard...

  • I would like to see the whole documentary! It's great!

  • I'm still a bit astonished that Anderson writes lyrics so easily. As Palmer says, a big part of the Tull thing is the lyrics - they are so precise, and intelligent, so deft in their use of language, and to see him sitting there with a pad of paper making something up on the spot that will go on the album and be stuck that way ever after as "the lyric" ... it's quite the gift the fellow has. It's true also that there is something 'superficial' in them - the passing surface of a deep mind.

  • god, I dream having that particular drum, of course I can not play as good as barrie eheh

  • Tull at their peak, it didn't get better

  • the classic Tull lineup.

  • gem of a video!

  • David Palmer is a genius

  • Awesome!

  • Really interesting to see how one of my favourite songs was recorded ~ thank you for posting :)

    And I still love Ian's tam-o-shanter / beret ~ I want one!
