this is a wrong procedure. the needle went through and through the vein thus making it appear bulging. Size of the cannula is not appropriate. G24? ano pedia?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I get the feeling that the camera person has never handled a camcorder or webcam before. Is this true? :(

Be comfortable. When you see the flashback, remove tourniquet. This prevents the blood pressure building up in the vein so it is less likely to squirt everywhere. It also reduces the chance of the vein bursting. Immediately upon getting the blood flashback, stop advancing the cannula. Then slowly advance the sheath of the cannula while withdrawing the needle from its core. Wear gloves in case of a scratch from the needle. Always dispose of your sharp immediately. Always secure your cannula well.
