@mumsworry1 Byron Bay was always a meeting place, not somewhere one is supposed to live. The Bora ring was in part of the industrial estate. The ring is not visible any more but the energy is still the same.

There was a question in the comments about reptiles (annunaki?) and the rainbow serpent. I have been trying to piece whether there is a connect myself (I think there is) but I have not been given access to that level of sacred knowledge yet.

There are actually many distinct "rainbow serpents" not just one. They interact with one another and they are creation ancestors with powers often exceeding other ancestors. But they argue amongst themselves and carved up different parts of Australia as there domains.

Many tribes take particular offence at the description of Byron as the start of the song lines. It is a particularly Eurocentric view of the world that there must be one place to start and one place to finish. Indigenous people do not look at reality in such a linear way. There are actually many beginnings and many ends.

Your description of ancestors coming across new species and then creating songs and art for them is misleading. Species themselves sing themselves into creation. It is not man who discovered them it is them that revealed themselves to man. The ancestors did not travel across the land “discovering” new species. Species were sung into existence as the ancestors travelled the land. The ancestors were not humans they were pure creative energy resonating with different elements of creation.

There were actually over 275 distinct mutually unintelligible languages in Australia and over a thousand different dialects not just 70 dialects.

Song lines are actually much more complex than you have described them.
