Some of the most vulnerable members of our community are unable to visit the library as the result of age, disability, illness, incarceration or domestic violence. Last year, Library Outreach Services circulated over 200,000 books and other items to people with significant barriers to library services. In this video, we go out on the road with outreach driver Eric Barker to deliver materials to homebound patrons living in senior centers. "A lot of them say its like Christmas every day when we show up," says Eric.
