  • You don't know how reassuring it is as the father of an 11 year old autistic girl to see that officers somewhere are getting this kind of training. It is very hard to feel comfortable approaching constabulary about our family's special concerns (where we are) let alone the topic of our daughter's (possibly) misunderstood behavior. God bless your work. We need you. Please come to Illinois.

  • Hello jspen,

    Thanks for the kind words!

I'm presenting in Illinois September 18th and 19th in Decatur and Elgin, respectively.

These are sessions for law enforcement.

Your local agency can contact the Illinois Attorney General's Office, Disability Rights Section in Chicago.

It's offered at no cost to law enforcement professionals.

    Dennis

  • This can really teach people about Autism this is great! Can you please add the the rest of this if possible?

  • Hi BRC:

That was it - just a short segment from a 4 hour training. I also present full day sessions that cover the spectrum, relevant issues, and age span.

just type in my name on a search engine and it will take you to my web site autismriskmanagement

Thank you, everybody, for the nice comments. They mean a lot to me.
