This band is fake. They play europe more than their home town, the singer sings in an english accent, they're lyrics don't really relate to the real working class of new york. They aren't about the streets, they're about skinhead cliches a lot of which aren't relevant in this country. The singer even has his own clothing line and sells fancy soccer scarves for the band that aint working class.

I appreciate capitalism, the entrepeneurial spirit, and I've always hated skinheads that took working class pride to mean purposely perpetuating a dead end go nowhere existance. Nevertheless, something has always struck me a little out of place about the way some people make money off the scene, and the way some people put money into the scene. Books with pictures of skinheads, proper scarves to follow some trend or another... can't put my finger on it but it just doesn't sit right.

@systemfighter220 Perhaps "smart enough" was a bad term. But you certainly can't deny the influence Skrewdriver has had on this band, especially in the guitar sound. As a guitarist, thats all I really care about.

Wait, no...Boot Party is as generic as Oi can get. But Oxblood is close. Unsure why they are so revered.

The Templars are great, one of the best American Oi bands after The Anti Heros. I do share your appreciation for Oxymoron though.
