  • Thanks for the questions. Thee is an important lip over the torsion box as you noticed. The lip should overhang the structure to provide space for the lower rail (3/4") and the x-axis mount (1/2"), totalling 1-1/4" (to be safe, I would make it an even 2"). A 3/4" mdf should be used for the table top. The torsion box height should be at least 3" unless legs will be used at the midpoint.

  • Can you supply some more detailed measurements about the torsion box? I understand that it should be 26" x 5.5', but what about the table lip dimensions?

    The table thickness ?

    The torsion box height?

    IE eny dimensions that are important to the successful creation of a torsion box that will work properly with your kit.
