@racermac1988 And you have to think how many more times he would've won at Talladega if he would've lived throughout the rest of the 1990's. I wouldn't doubt that Davey would've had at least three championships, and over fifty wins that he would've accumulated by the end of his career. Davey is NASCAR's greatest "what if" story, and scenario.

In this current era, when everyone is complaing about the current situation in NASCAR....well....I hate to sound like an old guy, but those sure were the days. The drivers behaved like men rather than kids, the announcers kept it real, and the whole situation was not nearly as artificial and tarted up as it is today.

To hear Benny and Ned in the booth again...what can a fellow say about that ? And yep, that's Crew Chief Larry Mac whooping it up on pit road as his driver takes the checkers

Allison never won a cup in 7 years on the circuit. That was even when Nascar was giving him races.....remember the win they gave him at the road course? Fact is, Davey was just an average driver on a great team. When Irvan got into that car that is when it shined. Case closed.

Chad Knaus Made Jimmie johnson, jimmie sucked in busch series without chad, and for kyle, he sucks now cause he lost his crew chief also, and theres no competition in the nationwide series for him, hes racing new drivers

Why cant we just watch the clip and remember the good times of NASCAR!?!?! There are too many "what ifs" to say one way or another. Fact is Earnhardt is a 7 time champ. End of story.
