HISTORY: An iron ore mine was operated by the Juniata Iron and Furnace Company in state college area between 1880 and 1895. The town of Tow Hill consisted of about two dozen log houses, a school house for twelve students in grades 1 to 5, two big frame houses for the head boss, a company grocery store and train station, an ore washer, and loading platforms.
Tow Hill may have gotten its name from a type of oil lamp carried by people there, a sort of "Aladdin's lamp", which used tow (flax fibers) as a wick. Some suppose it was named for the tow-colored fields of flax grown there. Another story indicates the name came from "towing" the carts up to the ore pits, and then letting them roll down the hill again. (Source: Jean Aron "The short Hiker")

for these EVP'S I was using a hi definition camera recorder that sense the video was mostly black I decided to just remove it and keep the audio though strangely after doing these evp's the camera now refuses to work occupational hazard I guess. but anyway I now use a Sony IC recorder it works quite well and does not have near as much static. I have used this recorder for the new EVP session called ghosts of the new year EVP's caught outside of a horse farm

hes the train man ghost there's a lot of abandoned train tracks in the area he supposedly haunts those, he's a purple shadow figure with a green mist with no face. Couple of my friends have seen him, I've scene mostly a green mist going down the long ago removed train tracks, he mostly lives in the town folklore. but anyway the software that I used is wave pad audio editor only thing I really did to these EVP's is just bring up the audio so they can be heard better.

A few questions. Who's Tommy Roger? What kind of recorder are you using? What is the audio software you use to enhance and edit recordings?

I use an Olympus WS-1000 digital voice recorder and Cool Edit Pro software. I prefer not to post my recordings on YouTube for personal reasons.
