  • @gethsoftware The Soviets are and were atheists. Many Russians were Orthodox Christians. Mannerheim was not very practicing in faith at all, but his daughter was and his wife was Orthodox. So you invent nonsense from Soviet-Russian rewriting. The Fins never discriminated on religion in WW2. They did on ideology.

  • @IustitiaPax allso do you know what culd happen if you did not progress lutheria faith? you culd be threaded harshly. this sort of thinking led to discrimination of orthodox in the time and afther the war. we know what happens when you mix religion and war, its not pretty. some finnish soldiers culd be prisoned if they did not have religius belive. there are things that i am not proud of and this is one of them. one shuld never mix religion and politics.

  • @IustitiaPax Actualy most soviets where orthodox christians. Finland had more non-religius people the soviet union. Allso the religius idiots of our army hated the orthodox christians bechose they where assosiated with russia. Russians where not atheists. their leaders where. but not their people. our country was compleatly opposite. our people where more non-religius but our leaders where very religius. that is why there is lot of stupid religius propaganda like this.

  • 1:31 and 1:08 and 1:57 show the very present Jewish soldiers of the Soviet Army (often political commissars). The Germans often shot these Jewish commissars in 1941 and 1942, but the Finnish in 1939 and until 1944 were heroic defenders, great anti-Communists and still treated the raw war criminals from the Red Army with respect. Even teaching them the Bible. This is the Finland I like. Great Marshall Mannerheim. Mannerheim's daughter became a Carmelite nun even!
